Five Poor Boys

Let November 15, 2004 forever be known as the day that an EL meeting was cancelled as the result of five separate and distinct catastrophes befalling each member of Elephant Larry!

Geoff became locked out of his building, because someone decided to change the front door locks to his building without telling him! Now he cannot leave his apartment, for fear of being locked out completely now that it is getting somewhat later.

Stefan became swamped with gads and gads of work, necessitating meeting somewhere closeby so he could report back to work if necessary! Luckily (or, as you will see, unluckily), this did not become an issue.

Chris became sick with the flu! His nagging monthlong cough re-evolved into full-on disease once more. The quarantine is in place.

Jeff became the victim of a car accident! Actually, this is the only true catastrophe. But Jeff is OK, thank God.

Alex became the victim of a catastrophe too!
