This may be a little too gross to put in this blog, but who cares!
Basically, I have a wound that doesn't seem to be healing very quickly, and I was freaking out yesterday that it might be infected, and I'd die.
So I went to the doctor, who took a look, and it turns out, its totally fine, just healing slowly. So he used something called "Silver Nitrate Stick," on me, which he says stings a little, but should speed up the healing process.
I get home, and wondering exactly what this "Silver Nitrate Stick" is, I do a google search. And it turns out, it is great for healing wounds... In birds and small animals.
Seriously.
The entire first two pages, at least, of the google search are all about, "If your bird's beak is wounded, it might be in serious trouble! Apply a silver nitrate stick..." or "Is your dog bleeding? Use this silver nitrate stick."
Ridiculous, right? But I guess that's what I get for going to the Vet!
