Verry Punny

I just got out of a meeting where someone with the last name "Verry" was discussed prominently. Apparently there is some confusion as to whether the man she lived with is her father or uncle. Prompting everyone to remark that it was a very confusing situation. Not a Verry confusing situation, mind you. A very confusing situation.

People must have said the word "very" about a hundred times in that meeting and not one person made the pun!!! Come on! There are certain expectations that come along with a name like that! I mean, I know I would've done it if I'd said the word "very" at all! It's simple. Just pause before you say it, give it a little oomph and waggle your eyebrows a bit afterward. There! You just made a pun! Easy!

Lest you think people were above making a pun. This Verry person is of Greek heritage. So, one person said that the situation was "all Greek to her!" Honestly, people.
