Cat Nap

This morning we had to wake up at 6AM to go here and here. We were staying at the lovely Adrienne's apartment, with her delightful cat Mona.

I had set the alarm on my phone to 6AM, and fell asleep on the love-seat. Stefan was asleep in a chair, and Chris and Geoff were on the floor. Geoff was wearing the bear suit to keep warm, and because we didn't think to bring blankets or anything.

However, exactly one minute before the alarm was supposed to ring, every single one of us was woken up by Mona lightly brushing by each of our faces personally, and meowing to wake us up. Seriously. Everybody sat there in silence, thinking it was still early, until my alarm rang out, and we all woke up.

"Hey, you're not going to believe this," I said, "But I think the cat woke me up on time." "Me too," said Geoff. "She did the same thing to me," said Stefan. Chris also agreed, and Jeff said nothing because he got to sleep on a comfortable couch.
