I've taken to holding a mug of coffee everywhere I go around the office.
I feel that it is helping hasten my transformation into a horrible schmuck.

Why is it that to those who know holding a cup of coffee everywhere around the office is an obvious indication of schmuckdom?
Don't get me wrong... I'm one of those who know, but I just can't put my finger on what the cues are that signals that behavior as so obviously schmucky.
But schmuckness it is.

Come to think of it though, isn't there an expression, a cup of coffee in hand is better than tea with President Bush.

schmuck: Yiddish shmok, penis, fool, probably from Polish smok, serpent, tail.
serpent! that doesn't sounds schmucky at all...
