We were all just hanging out in a bar that had a complimentary human-sized basket of peanuts. Which was very nice, except it meant it was one of those bars with peanut shells all over the floor, and I feel inherently ridiculous eating shelled peanuts out of a basket the size of me.
Also, Geoff tried to get me to eat a sticky peanut, which is just awful.
Also, Geoff and I snarfing down peanuts was the most appropriate the name of our group has ever been.
Also, Marni tells me that elephants don't like peanuts in real life, invalidating my last sentence.
[To clarify, elephants don't like peanuts more than anything else; it's not their favorite food. Also, they're fatty, and therefore not good for the precious 'phants.]
End of story, peanuts are a great but awkward bar snack. A better snack would be a nacho-trough that runs the length of the bar. Somebody get on that.

To be fair, I wasn't actively trying to get Alex to eat the sticky peanut. I just wanted him to hold one. And he did.
