She Should Have Known Better

Scene is a street in the West Village. Geoff & Alex are walking along on the street.

Geoff: Hey, want to see the place where I got my palm read?

Alex: Sure.

Geoff shows Alex a table at the bottom of a staircase. They laugh and walk on. About half a block later...

Lady: (From second story window, above psychic table at bottom of staircase) HEY, YOU WANT A PSYCHIC READING?

Geoff & Alex: (Kind of amused) No, no thanks, we're good.

Lady: COME BACK HERE!

Geoff & Alex: NO!
