The Benchwarmers

The biggest sin of "The Benchwarmers" is not that it's another underdog baseball movie retread. Those work all the time.

The biggest sin of "The Benchwarmers" is not that the guy who plays Napoleon Dynamite looks and sounds way more like Napoleon Dynamite than any of us could have possibly desired. Napoleon Dynamite is hiLARious.

No, the biggest sin of "The Benchwarmers" is that David Spade and Rob Schneider are clearly flip-flopping the roles of responsible (if snarky) leader and doofy hanger-on.

Come on! It took me fifteen years to get this dynamic straight! Now you're in the same movie (FINALLY) and you play against type? Thanks a lot, guys. Thanks a lot.

I've read and re-read this post 10 times and I still can't figure out what this has to do with "Snakes On A Plane." Get it together.

This movie looks so bad, and given all the flatulence, will also smell really bad too ... that said, I'm a sucker, and will probably check this one out tomorrow
