This Saturday is the end of an era: I am moving out of my amazing apartment in the Village that was so amazing I can't even get into details about how amazing/questionably legal it was. Just suffice it to say, it was amazing.
Anyway, in my apartment hunting, one of my major considerations is commuting. I severely dislike commuting, so I have been timing any and all train trips to and from each new apartment my future roommate Adam and I see, just to make sure all my major transportation needs are manageable.
So yesterday, after seeing the apartment I will probably be moving into, I timed the next trip I took. Upon reaching my destination I though to myself "Oh, it takes about 20 minutes to get from this new apartment to my old apartment."
Then I paused.
Then I started crying.
And I'm still crying to this day.
Because I am stupid.

RED triangle.
A word of warning: If it takes 20 minutes to go from your old apt to your new apt - round trip - you might be moving back into your old apt.
