So We're Having A Mardi Gras Party At Work Today

Problems with that:

-it is not Mardi Gras.
-it is not even close to Mardi Gras.
-it is not mardi, French for Tuesday. It is Wednesday.
-I've heard "When The Saints Go Marching In" about five times already, not counting my cellphone ringtone.*
-a certain thread of beads they give is made of tiny plastic stars which are sharp and hurt.
-they put balloons all over the floor of a room that was then filled with wheelchairs. Uhhh...
-I am currently sitting alone in my office, eating food and wearing shiny green and purple beads and a green, purple and yellow bowler.

That said, it is a fun party!

*just kidding, it's the theme from Jurassic Park now.
