Weird how posts get more personal and pertinent to the situation you are in RIGHT NOW when you're in a rush, no?

Fun fact: it took us an hour and a half to get our rental car upon arrival at Avis. This was because there was a group of FIFTEEN ahead of us when we got there, each renting their own car for three months at a time. And the computers were down. So we didn't get our cars until 3:15 am PST. Which, I don't need to tell you, is later on the East Coast, where our minds were.

Fortunately, we had left our hearts here.
