I'm calling Chris out. Chris, explain this:
FINAL FANTASY FABLES: CHOCOBO TALES
Please explain why there is a game based off of Final Fantasy's Chocolate Ball Bird characters, or you and me, we're having a throw down.
And just to clarify, there's no part of that last sentence that makes sense to me, so explain in depth.

Sigh... Chocobo's are one of the famous Final Fantasy themes that have been around since pretty much the beginning of the series. They're these cute, yellow, ostrich-like birds that are most often used for riding (for a small fee, you can cross terrain much more quickly and without having to encounter any enemies), but you can also use them to access a whole bunch of sidequests, like racing them, breeding them, and using them to dig up secret items, etc... This is actually a pretty brilliant idea on Square's part. Chocobos are cute enough to appeal to the Nintendo DS type crowd, while still brining in a slew of FF-obsessed nerds.
It feels good to be out in the open about this.
I like that the press release begins with "Chocobos Explode."
