Interviewer: What are some of your cinematic influences?
T.I.: This particular project, Fight Club and Memento. And there was an album by Pink Floyd that Jay-Z requested that I listen to, but I forgot [which one].
Now that's one cultured king.
Ok, this is going to sound insane, but if you just take the last 10 notes of the guitar solo, I'm pretty sure it's the theme to some production company that made children's movies in the late 70s or 80s. It played behind an animated logo that I think involved lasers. I know it played before something I used to watch, I just can't remember what it was.
Hey The Jode, maybe it was this thing with lasers? (Thanks to Baz for jogging my memory by posting this a while ago... makes me a little misty, thinking of all those old videotapes!)
