Socks

This morning, I caught a kind of interesting panel with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse (two of the Executive Producers of LOST), and apparently that's what the show producers call all the extras. So: all those folks on the island who are always carrying stuff or having fires in the background or whatever? Those are socks. Because they're just like sock puppets.

I thought that was funny.
