- Hey, I'm not in control of my own bodily functions!
...More than accidentally drooling all over yourself.
Anyway, I just drooled all over myself.

Interestingly, sometimes people who drool do it because they have decreased sensory awareness on their face or lips, or in their mouths, so they don't "feel it." Weird.
Not weirder than me leaving that as a comment, though.
