From Spamalot to Spam, a lot

Gmail has an excellent spam filter. Like, really, really excellent. It makes me feel like hotmail is some sort of e-mail ghetto.

Not only does Gmail filter out the spam effectively, but it also doesn't seem to identify every mail message from my friends as spam. That's pretty awesome. In fact, I think there's been one instance of a mailing list I subscribe to being put in the spam folder, but that was back when I first started using the darn thing, and never since.

In any case, I still do like to check out the spam I get, which seems to be much more personal than the stuff I get to hotmail, which is always addressed to "CIaLIs H8trrr" or something. Checking today, the spam I have is addressed to:

Azalbarb
Azalaz
Azalbee
Azalax

etc, etc. I can't help but feel that somewhere out there, a lot of wizards aren't getting their e-mail.

That was a long way to go for a wizard joke, huh?

Azalbee is obviously of the Good, Benevelont Order.

Azalaz and Azalax, on the other hand...definitely practitioners of the Dark Arts.

But Azalbarb? Unsure. I'd say he's probably a neutral, solitary wizard, formerly of the Good Order, but not-always-to-be-trusted. Probably the most receptive to pornospam though.
