Grand Theft Auto 1 & 2 - Free

If you've never played the original Grand Theft Auto, you haven't truly lived... But you've also probably never truly died, either.

I don't know what that means, but Rockstar is now offering their third free classic game download for the PC, GTA2.

I had downloaded the original GTA back a year or two ago when they first started this classic download program, and it rocks. Hard. I actually haven't played any of the recent versions (Vice City, San Andreas), but I can't imagine they're more fun than the original, which, despite its arcade trappings, is huge, immersive, and can give hours of playing enjoyment.

So anyway, head on over to Rockstar Games to download your copies of GTA & GTA2 now. They also have a game called "Wild Metal" available, but don't get that unless you like being bored to death by very slow and confusing tank battles.
