Laughter

I just received a forward whose intent it was to be funny. After doing whatever it was it was supposed to do, this e-mail urged its recipients to have more fun by citing the "fact" that children laugh 146 times a day and adults laugh only 4 times a day.

In instances like these, I personally think it best to remember that children are freaking morons.

If laughter's the best medicine, and children laugh the most, are children the second best medicine? You know. Children that you could eat or drink?

Also on the subject of laughter, I just passed by the Laugh Factory in Times Square. Evidently, they've set up a non-stop, looping laugh track that plays outside on the sidewalk. Very loudly, I might add.

This is, hands down, the creepiest thing I've experienced all day.
