Well Gosh, Bright Eyes

So I just saw this music video on TV about 15 minutes ago - on Trio, which apparently plays gorgeous music videos in between shows (they also played an animated Devendra Banhart video) - and, I know, I'm a big softie, but the video for Bright Eyes' "The First Day of My Life",, directed by John Cameron Mitchell, seems somehow totally perfect for the song and made me feel all warm and gooshy and nice - it's a montage of couples and others sitting on a couch listening to the song on headphones (similar to the Cake video for "Short Skirt Long Jacket", but with a different tone). Sentimental, but not in fake way.

Stick around for the guy at the end (awwwwww), and some odd similarities between a certain hand gesture he uses and one that Elephant Larry uses to finish off "Boom"...
