Geoff Says Something Nice About A Red Sox!

Not to undermine my brother's future list of 1,918 reasons to hate the Red Sox, but here's one reason to like them: David Ortiz.

Not on the field, mind you. Mr. Ortiz kills (KILLS) the Yankees, seemingly hitting a double or a monster home run every time up against them. But he makes a good point here about steroids. To boil it down real quick, four out of the five players who have been busted for "performance-enhancing drugs" have been Spanish-speaking. Mr. Ortiz points out all the possible communication problems inherent to that and indicates that this is unfair without going overly shouty about it. Good job by David Ortiz.

And yes, the singular form of "Red Sox" is "Red Sox." That's another reason to hate them.
