i don't know if it's apparent from these pictures, but this event happened backstage DURING THE SHOW. the whale-oil machine was clearly operating at full speed. just goes to show you - serious business mergers, and falling in love, can happen anywhere, anytime...

Which reminds me, I really need to transcribe my Rolling Stone interview titled "Fallen 4 Fallon."

Also, in case it isn't clear, we just found some sombreros backstage. They aren't part of the show.

Not at all, Alex! I had been scrambling to remember a hilarious EL skit in which PepsiCo businessmen come to agree upon Chalupa profits -- and fall in love!
