Yes, Elephant Larry does recognize that Stella can be defined as something other than "Three-man Alt-comedy Group/TV Show of (apparently) debatable quality."
This has probably got to be devastating. I always like to think that if I was in a similar hypothetical situation, I'd be OK with it. "At least it wasn't another man" I would think to myself. In fact, I bet I'd react pretty poorly in real life.
