Luggage Is Not A Real Word

Okay, so I just got back from a long trip, and I was carrying my luggage. And because I was carrying my luggage everything, I was using the word luggage in my head. "Don't forget your luggage. Pick up your luggage. Do you have all your luggage?" And once you start doing that you automatically begin to think too much about the word. And what I thought was, luggage sounds like it's completely fake and was invented by stoned surfers.

"Dude, I just got some rad surfage out on those gnarly waves. I'm gonna grab my luggage and catch some flightage out to your house in Hawaii."

Seriously. It sounds just as homemade as baggage. What, did somebody get tired of using the word "bags"?
