I wonder what it would be like to be New York City's Number One Hooker.

First of all, how do you even determine the ranking? Number of clients? Money made? General popularity? I'm sure it has to be some combo of that, but its such a, well, illegal business that it seems it might be tough for some sort of public rankings system.

Regardless, though, I feel like I'd be a little put off by the whole designation. Sure I'm good at what I do... But I'm still a hooker. I'd much rather be the city's top escort, but even that seems like mincing words.

I was trying to come up with a proper metaphor, but I think I may be skating on thin ice with this post, anyway, so I shall refrain.
