Emoticons

Here's something ironic (and I do think I'm using it correctly) about AOL IM: The spellchecker doesn't recognize the word "emoticon." Which AOL IM basically invented. Weird, right?

Also a tough situation, but I think we can figure it out by spliting it into a list:

Emoticons
:(

Emotipros
:)

...and that was my awkward way of shoving an "Emotipro" joke in there. I AM an emotipro*.


*Different meaning.

Similarly, Eudora spellchecker doesn't recognize the word Eudora.

Interestingly enough, Eudora Welty was unable to spell Mississippi.

Further, the blogger.com spell check doesn't recognize the word "blog." Really. Try it.
