All of a sudden whenever I check my e-mail I'm available to talk? Not necessarily. I check my e-mail a LOT. I'm not always available to talk at those frequent, frequent times.

Also, I'm afraid that if a certain portion of people start using it and a certain portion of people keep using AIM and another certain portion of people keep using YahooChat and so on, there will evolve so many IM chat options that we will finally each have our own personal instant messaging system, incapable of communicating with any other.

And really, isn't it always about communication? And wasting time at work? Yes.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play Polar Bowler on AIM.
