It's Like Die Hard, But In a Book

Here's a little 20 year old fun fact: Die Hard was based on a book.

That book is "Nothing Lasts Forever," by Roderick Thorp. AND, it's actually a sequel to another book he wrote, "The Detective".

Apparently some elements were changed from the book, but not much. I can imagine it now:

John McClane was scared. But he had to stop the terrorists! "Yippee Ki Ya Yay, Motherfucker," he said, and shot and shot his guns.

Actually, that's probably just the children's book adaptation.
