3 Fun Facts About "Prison Break's" Wentworth Miller, In Increasing Order of Ridiculousness

[Ed Note: The picture to the right was taken from Time Inc's archive of "Sexy Fall TV Guys."]

1. He was in "Dinotopia".

2. He was in the generally agreed upon worst-episode-of-"Buffy the Vampire Slayer"-ever, playing a swimmer who turns into a fish-monster.

3. He was in "Stealth..." As the voice of the evil plane.
All that aside, "Prison Break" is unrelentingly stupid, but totally a lot of fun. It's the anti-"Lost," in a way, because the characters are vacant and badly drawn; the writers depend on the plot to carry the show. Worth checking out, especially for Sexy Fall TV Guy Wentworth Miller's sexy fall performance.

4. "Wentworth" sounds more like a prison than "Fox River" does.

Sorry, the worst episode of Buffy was when she met Dracula. I mean really... what the fuck was that? Was she Abbott & Costello all of a sudden?

Also, any episode with Riley, because he was a douche.

No way! The fishman episode is the worst because it has all the structure of a classic Buffy episode, except none of the wit, acting, structure, direction, etc. Its like a fan-fic episode.

Buffy vs. Dracula, while yes, weird, still has some funny, good moments, and at least feels like a Buffy episode. A not up to snuff Buffy episode, but at least it belongs in the series.

Also, I would mention that I'm not including the fan-fic Seasons 6 & 7. Buffy ends at Season 5 for me. Except for certain episodes. In the 6th and 7th seasons. Which are great. Cough.

Word.

Except for the musical, season 6 was a fairly lame exercise in coasting and I've convinced myself that I live in a reality where season 7 doesn't exist. If the show had ended with her gravestone, I'd have been just fine with that.

Agreed... "Conversations with Dead People" wasn't bad, but I'm convinced that that Season 7 got ruined when they didn't bend over backwards to get Amber Benson back.

[She was originally supposed to be the form "The First Evil" took.]

Yeah, they could have done so much more with the First Evil thing; it never really felt fully fleshed-out to me. Half an idea, at best. And the Slayer Army never sat well with me eitehr. It went way too much against the "one girl against the world" conceit of the series.

Nathan Fillion was awesome, though, as the evil priest Caleb. And that "Conversations with Dead People" ep was great; had forgotten about that.

Best Episode Ever: "Hush".
Honorable Mention: "Band Candy" (Giles' Who listening Brit Bad Boy side)

PS - And Riley WAS a douche. And it took me years to warm up to Angel (whom Ted and I used to call 'Meatface') - but as soon as we started watching the series, there was no turning back.

PPS - I Heart Marni.

With all this Buffy talk, it sounds like it's time for a new blog: Dorks On Computer.

Don't view that as an insult; I'd enthusiastically read and contribute to that. But I'd have to make up for my lack of knowledge about Buffy with equally dorky facts about "Who Wants To Be A Superhero?"

Dude, we can make this a "Who Wants to Be a Superhero?" discussion. How pissed were you about last week's elimination?

Season Finale tonight, yo.
