I don't care what Geoff says about this, I still kinda liked it. Probably the best thing he's done in a long time. Familiar subject matter, but well-written with some surprises. Also really current.

I don't understand. Why would you think the guy who writes more song parodies than anyone else in the group wouldn't love this?
Upon perusal of the track list, I see he has an eleven minute long parody of "Trapped in the Closet."
It's called "Trapped in the Drive Thru."
I don't even know what to think.
I'll let you know how it is...listening to the album right now.
The polka this time around is particularly good.
Interesting note as I liveblog this album: it's more style parodies than actual song parodies. Which is kinda neat in a way...we've had Usher, Cake and Rage Against The Machine so far.
Okay, I'm loving this Trapped in the Drive-Thru song.
It really hits all the things that made Trapped in the Closet so ridiculous/awesome.
Probably hard to listen to again, but this is certainly worth it.
