I'm suprised no posts on Studio 60. I'm curious what you guys thought about the premiere, the comedy afficionados that you are. The whole thing is available at NBC.com if you missed it.
I totally loved it -- good acting, great setup, tons of possibilities off that first episode. Matt Perry is great, Amanda Peet is, for the first time in anything I've seen her in, totally great too. The network president is a fantastic asshole. I'm looking forward to seeing more...
We were lucky enough to procure a copy of the pilot a couple of months ago, and I think I watched it about seven times or so. I'm also pretty sure I would do almost anything for Aaron Sorkin.

This comedy geek thought Studio 60 was truly great. I was riveted from beginning to end and even felt the need to applaud when it was done.
Like I said...comedy geek. Afficionado is far too fancy-pants.

Yeah, totally amazing, basically.
"Peripheral Vision Man" is a perfect mediocre sketch idea title. If they keep nailing sketch comedy like that, I'm just gonna keep getting happier.
Sorkin hired Mark McKinney to write all of the sketch comedy stuff.
So...y'know...that's amazing.
i'm going on record as loving studio 60 as well.
Oh, OK. So a Kid in the Hall is involved too.
That's cool.
