Afternoon Delight

Some afternoon linkage for ya:

Time Out Chicago - Yo, mah Chicago peeps, you gotta pick this up. Previously only available in London and NYC, entertainment juggernaut Time Out expanded into our deep dish neighbor to the north. I'm especially interested to hear if the Comedy section is longer than the 2 pages we get in NYC...

Watch TV on the Subway - I'm pretty sure I read somewhere there's a plan to do this on the NYC Subways... Having no big problem with too much input at all times, news on the subway seems like a great idea. Anyway, they're trying out a system on the MARTA in Atlanta, and there are at least two awesome things about it. 1) The sound will be broadcast via FM, so anyone can choose to listen to the news, or not. 2) Check this shit out: "As the train passes through wireless clouds -- ranging in radius from 600 feet to a mile -- it will detect any new content and download it onto the trains' TVs." Awesome.

The 125 Year Old Woman

Mash-Up Mayhem - Just your everyday mash-up of The Beatles, George Michael, Arethra Franklin, and Scissor Sisters. Starts off okay, but builds awesomely.

"According to the Guinness World Records Web site, the world's oldest woman is 113-year-old Hendrikje Van Andel-Schipper, who was born June 29, 1890"

Guiness - YOUR source for good math....
