Sympathy for the Hilton

I got nothing against or for Paris Hilton.

In case you haven't heard, P. Hil's Sidekick got hacked, or password discovered, or something last week, and all her info was released on the internet, leading to furious Lindsay Lohans and MTV Brazil DJs everywhere.

Anyway, there's been a ton of press about it, the most recent being this op ed in the Times, featuring this choice quote:

"She was pretty upset about it," someone told MSNBC. "It's one thing to have people looking at your sex tapes, but having people reading your personal e-mails is a real invasion of privacy."

Oh, yes. I agree.

PS: I don't agree.
